We are a Baptist church that is:

Christ-Centred

We believe in the centrality of Christ in all of Scripture.

We believe in the supremacy of Christ in all of life.

We believe in the sufficiency of the gospel of Christ for all of life.

We believe that Jesus is at the centre of the Word and history.

We believe that the goal of preaching is to behold the supremacy of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ (2 Cor. 4:6).

We believe that true lasting transformation happens when one beholds and delights in the glory of God (2 Cor. 3:17).

Compassionate toward the Poor

We believe that the purity of the gospel message is dependent upon our attitude towards the poor (Gal. 2:10).

As Francis Schaeffer put it, "Biblical orthodoxy without compassion is surely the ugliest thing in the world."

"Religion that is pure and undefiled before God, the Father, is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction..." (James 1:27)

Baptistic in Church Polity

We believe that under God's Word, the local congregation is the final authority in church governance with a group of Elders who oversee and teach the people.

Worship in spirit and in truth:

We believe that all orthodoxy leads to doxology. True knowing results in joyful, exuberant worship.

We believe that people praise that which they find to be pleasing and delightful. God is the epitome of such qualities; therefore, we will sing all the more!

Our Aim: Your Joy

Our desire is that you find true lasting joy in God. John Piper says it best - for God is most glorified in us when we are most satisfied in him.
