An excerpt from the sermon preached on May 1st.

Unbelievers can be divided into 3 types of people or what we can call traffic lights: red, yellow, and green.

When you witness to a red light person, he is presently not interested in spiritual things and he will reject what you say. A red light person is presently not interested at all in the gospel.

A yellow light person is interested in what the Bible says, and are open to listening about your faith.

A green light person has a soft heart. When you witness to him, he is ready to repent and believe in Jesus Christ as his Savior.

There are many people around us who God has prepared and who are ready to be saved. We cannot spend too much time and effort on the red light people who are presently not interested in the gospel. Only God can soften their hearts and prepare them and all we can do is continue to pray for them and show them love when we meet them.

We have to focus on looking for the yellow light and green light people who God has already prepared and who are ready to hear the gospel.  Our job then is to plant the seed, water the seed, and then harvest.

The sermon preached on May 1st will give insight on what to do when you meet the red light, yellow light, and green light people.

Let's pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out labourers into his harvest.
