Ordination Service for Pastor Joseph

Congratulations Pastor Joseph for your ordination!

We desperately need men like Pastor Joseph —a man who is committed to the gospel of the grace of God, the exposition of the Word of God, and faithful and loving service in the will of God.

We remember the words written to Timothy.

“Set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity.  Until I come, devote yourself to the public reading of Scripture, to preaching and to teaching.  Do not neglect your gift, which was given you through a prophetic message when the body of elders laid their hands on you.  Be diligent in these matters; give yourself wholly to them, so that everyone may see your progress.  Watch your life and doctrine closely. Persevere in them, because if you do, you will save both yourself and your hearers.”

Our prayer is for Pastor Joseph to commit to this new trust and responsibility, and fulfill his duties in harmony with the scriptures, preach and teach God’s Word and lead Bridge Church to embrace and gladly obey it, and lead others by his own faithful example in following the Lord Jesus.

May our Almighty God, who has granted you the desire and the will to do these things, graciously give you the strength and compassion to do them.
